We run intensive programmes to help men realise their full potential. We give them homes, jobs and skills for living while teaching them about life and faith in a family environment.
As an organisation, we will consider any individual who we think we can help. However, our residential and rehabilitation facilities are designed as single-sex houses for safety and security reasons.
For any women, families or young adults we suggest you contact us, we can refer you to other charities and organisations who we think can serve you better.
No, we work with partner organisations to manage detoxes. However, you can’t be on more than 40ml of Methadone or 8mg of Subutex. We provide a daily program of activities and 24/7 support in a safe closed environment, to support residents during the detox.

We generally accept men between 25 and 55 years old. However, applications are assessed based on their individual circumstances. We work with adults only but age alone will not determine whether an applicant is accepted.
Our program is approximately 2 years but we believe that each individual has their own journey to walk. Therefore, we don’t have any fixed time frame for our rehabilitation program.
No, we are not a medical facility. On arrival, our residents will register with a local GP practice. In case of a healthcare emergency, our staff are trained to arrange immediate medical attention when needed.

At Walk, we assess referrals on an individual basis and each application is evaluated to see if we can support the needs of the person applying. If we can, we accept. If we cannot, we attempt to signpost to other agencies, charities or services best equipped to help.
