Last week our residents at Bridgegate Detox Home and Railway Recovery home enjoyed a Christmas trip to Altrincham Ice Rink.
There was a mixed skill set on display. While some residents rivalled the skill set of Torvill and Dean, most of the guys struggled to stay upright and spent a large part of the session horizontal on the ice.
Despite some struggles and funny falls (which can be seen in our highlights video on social media), all of our residents showed great attitudes and kept on getting up and trying again. Safe to say, we made memories for life.
After a fun but tiring hour on the ice, we enjoyed more fellowship as we fuelled up with burgers, chips and even an ice cream.
